1. NOTING OF MINUTES OF
THE MEETING HELD ON 23rd FEBRUARY 2018.
Ref: Point No. 4:
The
Committee approved the corporate membership of M/s. HCL Infosystems Ltd. by paying the existing Entrance Fees i.e. Rs.
30 Lacs plus GST 18%.
Ref: Point No. 5:
The
Committee approved the corporate membership of M/s. IL&FS Financial
Services Ltd. by paying the existing
Entrance Fees i.e. Rs. 30 Lacs plus GST 18%.
Ref: Point No. 6:
The
Committee noted that Mrs. Arti Malhotra has submitted a proof certifying that
Late Mr. Harsh Malhotra (M402) was her husband.
The
Committee accepted her request to use the Club facilities under Surviving
Spouse category.
Ref: Point No. 7:
The
Committee accepted the request from Mrs. Meera Madan for membership under
Widowed Daughters category as per Article 6(i) (b).
The rest of
minutes were noted.
2. APPROVAL OF
APPLICATIONS FOR TENURE
MEMBERSHIP: -
(A) FOREIGN TENURE:
Mr. Shuichiro Murakami, DMD, M/s Mitsui
& Co. India Pvt. Ltd., is recommend for Foreign Tenure ‘C’ membership subject
to Golf Test / Handicap Certificate. (Nationality: Japanese)
(B) FOREIGN TENURE (NRI)
Mr. Sandeep Khanna, Financial Analyst, is
recommend for Foreign Tenure (NRI) ‘C’ membership subject to Golf Test /
Handicap Certificate. (Nationality:
Indian)
(C) GOVERNMENT TENURE:
(1) Mrs. Shakuntala Doley Gamlin, Secretary,
M/o. Social Justice & Empowerment (previously was a Government Tenure ‘M/W’
member) is recommended for Government Tenure ‘M/W’ membership.
(2) Mr. Asish Padhi, Joint Secretary,
Cabinet Secretariat, (previously was granted playing rights (PR0057) is

LETTER DATED 13TH
FEBRUARY 2018 FROM MR. JAG MOHAN PURI WITHDRAWING HIS MEMBERSHIP. (HE WAS ELECTED AS AN ASSOCIATE ‘C’ MEMBER ON
15TH JANUARY 2018 UNDER INDIAN BUSINESS CATEGORY. HE IS REGRETTED TO
ACCEPT THE OFFER FOR MEMBERSHIP.)
The Committee accepted letter dated 13th February 2018 from
Mr. Jag Mohan Puri regretting to accept the offer letter for membership and
registration amount of Rs. 10,000/- should be refunded.
8.
LETTER DATED 18.01.2018
FROM MR. ASHOK BHASIN (IB-2370 DATED 11.01.1989) REGARDING ENHANCED
REGISTRATION PAYMENT.
The Committee approved the above. Mr. Ashok Bhasin would have to pay the
enhanced registration fees plus compound interest at the same rate as
applicable in the year 2006 and would lose one year seniority from the date of
original application. After making payment, his application to be made active.
9.
LETTER DATED 20TH
FEBRUARY 2018 FROM MRS. ASHA KHANNA REGARDING MEMBERSHIP OF HIS SON MR. SHIRISH
KHANNA.
The Committee discussed the above and request from Mrs. Asha Khanna was
not accepted.
10.
Other Points:
(1)
Case of Mr. Gajendra
Haldea:
The Secretary stated that the report was available and this was seen by
me subsequent to the meeting. The General Committee and club is unaware as to
how this committee [calling itself the adjudicating committee] was
formed and reported. The secretariat may be asked to explain as to what process
was followed as it appears irregular. In the light of “Noting of the Minutes”
clause 6(i) of the General Committee meeting dated 6th November
2017, a show cause may be issued to the member – this has been kept pending for
the past 5 months.

Case of Mr. Vipin Malik:
It was decided that this case may be referred to General Committee.
